Buxton Plant
 |
This
licensed site in Buxton in the north of England is set in the Peak
National Park. Here we refine a wide variety of industrial
materials by pyrometallurgical and chemical processes |
 |
The
refining inputs mainly arise from the chemical, electroplating,
pharmaceutical & electronics industrial sector. |
|
Many
materials arriving at the site require incineration prior to
sampling. The facilities have recently been upgraded by increasing
the number of incinerators together with capital expenditure on
the afterburner and gas abatement systems. |
|
|

|
Alloys
are melted and after sampling, cast into ingots. |
 |
The
site is licensed to treat gold & silver cyanide solutions and
to chemically strip gold plated materials. |
|

|
Materials
can be chemically upgraded in the acid treatment area. |
 |
The
resultant precious metals can be sold on the London Markets or
transferred to a London metal account for conversion into new
products. |
